Hi group,

I've heard conflicting stories from high scorers. Some say the paper tests are very indicative of how you'll do, others say "not a chance, quant is far too easy".

Thoughts?

do you mean the official guide? what kind of paper test did u mean?

The paper tests from mba.com. I'm curious as well since I just laid down $25 for them. As long as you stick to the time limits, I imagine the two are very similar, since I would imagine GMAC wants consistency of scores regardless of whether one took the paper test or the CAT. Any thoughts?

For Verbal Yes. Quant... not a chance.

There is no way that I could get 100% on quant twice on the real GMAT.

I used only the alloted time and got 100% on two paper tests so far for the quant.

Like I said, bring those paper tests back!!! the are so increadibly easy!!!

Do the Verbal only they might represent some sort of difficulty level that you might come across on the real stuff.

I've got those papers and I have just realized some verbal questions are similiar to the ones on OG10. I think this is a good material to practice but it is not comparable to the real stuff.

can anybody tell me that verbal questions will be all from official guide or there will be new questions.Actually my friend told me that all the questions of verbal section will be same as in the official guide.but there will be some change in quant section.
