Briefly, my background. I gave the GMAT last year scoring a 710 (48 m and 39 v) with 5.5 AWA.
Before studying I took GMAT PREP #1 and scored 45 m and 40 v for 690. In short, I studied pretty hard, but clearly there was not much improvement.
My biggest shortcoming is sentence correction. My greatest talents are rc and cr.
On the real test I finished 10 minutes early on verbal.
I am going to retake it, and aim for mid 700's. I think I am in a fairly common position as others. Please advise on tips, etc on how to study and prepare. Right now my plan is to:
1. Do all the challenges
2. All 1000 SC questions
3. Most importantly - take alot of full time gmat tests, including writing, working hard on endurance.
I hope to do this in 6 weeks. Suggestions?

Have you tried MGMAT SC guide? Thats what people recommend a lot on these forums.
I am going through one now. I don't know how much it would improve my SC, but the book is easy to read and concise.
If I had 710, I would be a very happy man :D

yes i did. i think i can stand to just focus more on sc, and really get timing down better. more practice tests.
