I think they helped me a lot. The timing in MGMAT is difficult and it helps you figure out when you need to move on. When you can score very highly in MGMAT, it will be a good indication you're ready.

I agree the verbal is not as difficult.

I did not take MGMAT tests because everyone says the quant problems require too many calculations...they can't be done in the amount of time you have.

GMATPrep is definitely best, but there are only two of them. You can uninstall and reinstall, but I would only do that once. Otherwise you'll see overlap and it won't be that helpful.

I would recommend the Princeton Review tests. Those were very accurate for me and seem to be the most like the real test overall.
