Hi Guys and Gals,
I'm hoping to get some help. I wrote the GMAT about 2 months ago with about 5 weeks of study time. I probably averaged 15 hrs (a week) for the first 4 weeks, and 4-5 hrs a day for the final week. Ended up with 620 (Q39,V35). I was pretty happy with my results, as I was getting 570-590 on the Kaplan prep tests and GMATprep.
I found out that I needed to re-write (for B-School purposes), and had 10 days to study. Spent 4 hrs/ day really focusing on my math (which i see as my main weak point). I did the GMAT Club diagnostic test and did very poorly. I went through all the wrong answers and tried to understand the mistakes. Spent the rest of the time working on GMATprep, and reviewing the wrong answers here on the board. Also spent some time in the OG and the GMAT quant review. Ended up with 590 on the GMATprep 1 (redo), and 650 on GMATprep 2.
I wrote again today, and ended up with a very disappointing 580 (Q33, V36). I felt like I had a breakdown on my basic math concepts.
I would appreciate whatever feedback i can get on building my score. I need to get 700, which i believe i should be able to achieve given my reasonable Verbal scores...
thanks in advance.
