You can take the practice test by mimicking official conditions and check how you are performing. Then you can go for the official test one more time.

I had exactly the same practice test scores and the final GMAT score albeit with different break up the first time I took the test.

For me, I realized that a good rest and no study one day before the test day was my key to improvement.
I think taking a good break now for your next test will be critical to probably relearn the concepts. Take testprep if possible , and dont repeat the same material as we all have photographic memory and will remember answers from our previous attempts.

So take it easy for a while now.

I appreciate the advice. I was just surprised that the quant was much harder than the GMAT prep quant, so it was difficult for me to guage if i was doin decent or not during the actual exam...until I saw the actual score. I know I made some dumb mistakes as well, but I think I am going to focus on some Manhattan gmat exams because taking the GMAT prep wont help too much anymore since I will be seeing a significant amount of repeats. My main difficulty is timing with word translation type problems (600-700 level) and inequalities with absolute values because of all the different possible scenarios. It would also be beneficial to bring my verbal score up as well (primarily sent. correction). If only the pearson review loaded some new GMAT Test Prep material, it would help me a lot. I will take your advice and take a few week break just to clear my mind and then try a new approach.
