Things to carry to Visa Application Center(VAC) for biometric
You ONLY need to carry the following things for VAC.
- Passport
- DS 160 confirmation page
- Appointment confirmation letter
Tips :
- Do not be late. Try to reach atleast 15 minutes before your appointment.
- Carry hard copies of the above 3 documents.
- There is NO need to carry photographs. They will take your picture at the center.
- Tie your hair properly behind the ears (for Ladies) – Ears should be visible properly. For gents, comb your hairs properly.
- Biometric and Interview venues were different for some locations and same for others. Please take care of the venue.
- Do not wear lens
- No need to wear formals. Do wear something smart though because this photo will reflect for the next couple of years!
- Do not carry mobile phones, any electronic watch , big bags etc. Some centers do allow to carry mobile phones but in switched off conditions. But it is better not to carry.
