Hi everyone- thnx for putting together such a great community.
I am wait-listed at a top MBA program right now - but also have been accepted at another one. I'm really OK with each of these schools but really want to see the offer from my wait-listed school- if they get me I'll most probably be taking their offer. Has anyone here tried to send an e-mail to the waitlisted school telling this (I am in at X but if you get me by this week I'll come there!)- and if yes, what was the result like? I mean what do I have to lose here- right? If anyone has ever sent a similar e-mail I would love to see the format/draft as well- if anyone is kind enough to PM me with it.

it really does not depend on the schools. just 2 of the schools that I have listed are part of this and I'm totally indifferent between those two. if the WL gets me i would love to go there- but I'm very very happy with my current admit as well- its not a matter of schools. if I piss the WL school of- so what, I wont have the offer. maybe I wont get it anyway!
