Also, can we get a general discussion going about which schools like to receive updates and which schools don't?

For instance, Kellogg loves to receive them. And Wharton doesn't. But what about the other top 10?
Most schools would tell you there policies. I think H/S/W all do not allow you to update your info. Most other schools will allow you to.

yeah - they seem to be pretty specific about what they want from you while on waitlist. I reckon following school policy is the best idea - despite my desire to get an influential alum to write a letter. I am holding my ground!
