Not much analysis we can do on the question stem. So we move to question stem.
Staement 1 : She was hired in the 2nd week of the month
Again not enough info as it can be any month. So we move ahead.
We eliminate options A and D.
Statement 2 : A day in April was exactly 100 calendar days after the day Mona was hired
We need to approach them in a way to identify when she was hired. So what we can do is to find the latest day and the earliest day that she was hired.
Latest day:

Again not sufficient. We eliminate options B.
Combine
When we combine we know it has to be the second week of January.
Option C.
