What are good weaknesses that a recommender can write for an applicant ? My recommender is asking me for suggestions about my weaknesses 
and I have not been able to do a good job at it .. there are some personal weaknesses that I have, but those cannot come from a recommender .
Any generic work-related weakenesses ?

I think that this a very common answer and can be quite annoying. You don't want to come across as insincere. Unless you are perfect, there will be something in your personality that you would like to improve. Claiming to be a perfectionist is lame..my 2 cents !
