Weird error while trying to buy Practice Exams 3 and 4? [#permalink] New post   20 May 2023, 07:41
So, I want to buy the 3rd and 4th practice exams but keep getting a little pink bar near the top telling me the product isn't available in my country. It doesn't stop me from moving on to the payment page, but I still find it very confusing.

The website also asks me if my billing and shipping address are the same during checkout, which is weird, because I thought this was just a digital activation code, not a physical product that would be sent to my home.

Anyone know what's going on?

(I admit I'm panicking a little. My exam is soon and I don't have time to wait for the license key to be shipped. I assumed these exams would be instantly accessible from my account, like the first two. Was I wrong?)

Hopefully nothing to worry about. Consider reaching out to customer support. There should also be a phone number you can reach out to for your specific region.

Honestly I'm at a total loss. I've tried to buy these exams with credit cards from three different banks, and none of them worked. It keeps telling me that the payments failed. I shouldn't have waited until the weekend when the gmat helplines aren't available. I fear I've destroyed my prep schedule.

Hi swallowsbreath.

Checking your shipping address is likely just a standard procedure of the website since people also buy physical products there. Activation codes don't have to be shipped.

Hi all, I was and wasn't able to sort this out. As Marty said, the shipping thing is just standard procedure on the website and ultimately not an issue. But my card payments have continued to fail. GMAT customer care says that it's probably a security measure from my bank and that I should take it up with them, but I used cards from three different banks so I'm not sure that's the case. Well, my exam was yesterday so I suppose it doesn't matter much anymore.
