­Rule of compounding,
lets take investment as x,
for two year of installments at 10%
x(first year installment) + 1.1x (10% for 2nd year of installments) = (1.1^2) * 42000 --- Eq 1
Get the value of x from here.
now for 3 year of installments at 10%
x'(first year installment) + 1.1x' (10% for 2nd year of installment) + 1.21x' (10% for 3rd year of installment) = (1.1^3) * 42000 --- Eq2
get the value of x' from here this value will be in decimals round up it to nearest integer.
then x - x' is your answer ­
