Wharton EMBA’s 2021-22 Questions and Deadlines!
Wharton’s Round 1 EMBA admissions season has begun! Wharton has released its 2021-2022 application deadlines and essay questions. They are below. The application itself should be ready around August.
Wharton will begin conducting virtual interviews in August and will offer interview spots through the application deadline. Please note, you can already sign up for an admissions interview, and Wharton prefers that you interview before the application deadline (which means you will interview before they review your written application). You can choose an interview date that is convenient for you, although we at MBAAdmit.com recommend you do not interview until after 1) you have revised your resume to make it an outstanding application resume, which is different than a job resume, and 2) you have drafted your essay #1, so you are clear about what your positioning will be with regard to your goals and why you need the Wharton degree.
Below, we have listed the application deadlines, 2021-2022 essay questions, and link where you can sign up for your application interview.
APPLICATION DEADLINES
Round 1: December 8, 2021 (11:59 p.m. PST) Round 1 Decision Release Date: January 19, 2022
Round 2: February 9, 2022 (11:59 p.m. PST) Round 2 Decision Release Date: March 23, 2022
ESSAY QUESTIONS
Essay Question 1 (Required; 750 word limit):
What are your career objectives and how will the Wharton MBA Program for Executives contribute to your attainment of this objective?
Essay Question 2 (Required; 750 word limit) This essay is new for 2021-2022. This change will be reflected within the application in August. Essays 1 and 3 will not be changing and are correct in the application:
Research has shown that there is a compelling business case for diversity and inclusion: increased profitability, greater creativity and innovation, and less risk for organizations that have effective DEI practices. What intentional steps have you taken or what would you recommend to support an equitable and inclusive environment at work or elsewhere?

Essay Question 4 (Optional; 300 word limit):
If necessary, you may use this optional essay to explain any extenuating circumstances of which the Admissions Committee should be aware.
