Congratulations! If you have already visited the campus, I would go with the alum interview. You might want to go through the Wharton interview tips article written by a recent Wharton alumnus working at Goldman Sachs.

Good luck!

Hi - I just received a Wharton interview invite for Round 2, and I'm wondering if it's better to interview on campus or with alumni. I'm located in San Francisco, and I've already visited campus, attended classes, and an ad com Q & A. My gut feeling says alumni - it's exhausting to fly across the country (especially in the current snow storms) for a half hour interview. At the same time, a couple of alumni told me on-campus is better.

I scheduled a date on campus fearing that the calendar with fill up quickly, but I'm wondering if I should (or can) cancel and go the alumni route instead. Can anyone share thoughts on this?

Thank you everyone - I cancelled my campus visit, and I'm in the process of approaching alumni in the area. Any tips there? Thanks and good luck to everyone still waiting to hear on their first choice as I am (and congrats to those who are done).

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum. I was just invited to interview off-campus for Wharton R3 (I'm overseas). I have a three-week window in which to finish the interview. Because of work demands, I may not be able to do it until near the deadline. Does it make any difference whether I do the interview early or late within this window?

Would appreciate any of your insights.

Makes no difference. Just schedule the interview date that best suits your schedule within their 3-week window. Good luck
