Hello,
I recently completed the GMAT with the intent of applying to Wharton’s JD MBA program. Given the other details of my application, is this score sufficient or should I consider retaking it?
GMAT: 730, Q45, V44, IR 8
UGPA: 3.2 (Top 10 school)
My concern is that while the total score is Wharton’s average, the Quant score is not sufficient.
Application profile: I am currently a 1L of the law school, which I am hoping will provide a boost. I also have 3 years post UG work experience with more of a quant focus (SQL and data strategy for a tech company. I have multiple extracurricular/ leadership positions and good letters of rec from my former managers. I want to pursue this to supplement my corporate law education and eventually serve as a general counsel.
Given this profile, do I need to retake the GMAT? Any help is appreciated!

Your GMAT score is good, though I agree that a slightly higher Quant score (such as a 47) would definitely improve your chances. Of course you have nothing to lose by taking it 3-4 times (except your time studying), so if possible it wouldn't hurt to try to boost your score when applying to such a competitive school, especially because your GPA is a bit below average too.
However, the application process is a holistic one, and while I don't know your professional and personal stories, based on what you wrote, you still have a strong profile. Hopefully you can demonstrate your strong quant abilities through your resume, recommendations, and even essays, and hopefully you can show your leadership qualities at work and in your extracurriculars.
