Hi all,
What kind of roles can an MBA in FInance play?.....I know there is myriad of them but what is his routine like and what really will his job be?
To beter explain my question, heres an wg --
Im from Software and work an a Software Enggineer. My job is to actually design and then implement the design, i.e. write code in contrast to my PA (PRogrammer Analyst) (he will estimate the effort, among other things) or even PM who are responsible for higher level issues in a software project.
I want to know if I will actually be doing the "numbers" after the MBA (more like an Software Engg above) or have more of an administrative responsibility over those doing the actual work?
Also, is it normal for ppl to pursue an MS in Fin after an MBA in Fin?........I feel its like moving from a braoder view to something more detailed and from the little that I know, it will be difficult to justify this course of action.......is this an option people take?.........Im more keen on actually doing the work than overseeing that of others
thanks a lot
