Hello there!
Well, I'd truly need a bit more detail (esp. about your work) to tell you your actual chances, but fiiiirst of all congrats on your new GMAT score! That's fantastic.
I think as a Nigerian female candidate with a 710 GMAT you are already in very good shape, and you can make it into Top 20. Whether it's top 20, Top 10, or Top 5 will depend a lot on the details from what I am missing - how much leadership you have, the details of your extra curriculars, how much you can convince with your goals, the ranking of your school and so on.

Right now, I think so far the biggest issue is maybe your goals: They are laudatory, buuuut have you done anything in agribiz int he past which will prove somehow that you have the capacity to do so in the future? what precisely is your dream? And how precisely do you plan to accomplish it?

For the specifics of the schools and Top10/Top20 I'd suggest you fill me in on more detail (your main achievements, your reviews, what other business skills you have, your teamwork and leadership and so on).
But overall things look good,
Best,
JF

I have been leading teams at work for about 4 years, being a great team member from the very start. I'm certain my recommenders will do justice to that, I've had 4 promotions and an award at work. Outside work, I've also held a few leadership positions.

My work involves a lot of analysis & interpretation, communication & debates, problem solving/ innovation, so I've been able to develop those skills .

My extracurriculars - organizing events for widows in the community, I founded a welfare committee at work, organize retreats for the department, play volleyball and I'm a decent photographer. I also volunteer at church

I (unsuccessfully) started a couple of businesses before now, nothing in agribiz though I have a small garden I grow as a hobby. I plan to start a large scale farm and grow into a food corp (like Fresca group). I have a very detailed plan on how I intend to get it done, I had taken a few steps before deciding to get an MBA

My undergraduate was at one of the top 5 universities in the country.

Allrighty! So the details are pretty good here. Even the fact that you have started up failed business is great. The bigger the failure the better! Because it means you took chances, you tried something.

I'm still not crazy with the Agribiz goals, because I don't yet see it - meaning how it fits with your career history, and how it is a better goal than say simply going into Consulting…. But it's something that you can figure out and see how it works as you write your applications.

I think you can stick to mostly Top 10 schools, but should also have 2 or more schools in the second ten too to keep things well balanced.

Let me know if there's anything else,
Best,
JF
