I attempt: Q44(75%), V38(85%) Overall (90 percentile)
II attempt Q48 (86%), V28(51%) (80 percentile)
sex: Female
Nationality: US
Masters in Computer Engg , GPA(3.72/4.0) University of Minnesota(2000)
Masters in Electrical Engg, GPA(3.76/4.0) Oakland U, MI (1992)
Bachelors in Electrical Engg, GPA 3.7/4.0, India
I have been working full time for 13 years in the US and currently as a manager for the last few months. I have lead several projects, received awards and earned certifications. At this point in my life, I need more business skills to set myself apart.
I hear that Tuck and Yale consider the best Quant and best Verbal out of the best 2 GMAT scores. In that case will my new quant score of 48 help?

I don't see much growth for me in my current position. I believe that there are very few folks that have both strong IT and business skills. So, an MBA will help me to set myself apart. I have always been interested in learning more about economics and the market. I also hope to take communications and general management classes. I want to take one foreign language (Spanish/Chineese) class as well.
Here is the plan:
Pick the right schools.
Start working on essays and recommendations.
Apply early for the first round of 2007. It will take me some time, I am married and my husband will have to find a job, we need to sell our house etc.
Go to school full time while working occassionally on internships or consulting. Invest 100K in myself.
Graduate with a Finance major.
Work for a large high tech company but this time with more emphasis on the business side than technology.
