Hello everyone,
I've assessed my career goals and come to the conclusion that an EMBA would be a great option for me professionally and it would allow me to work full time to support my family.
Here's my profile, which I realize maybe a bit non-standard:
Age: 32
UGrad GPA: 2.83 (STEM Degree Top 25 Public Research University)
Grad GPA: 3.71 (Social Science Degree Ivy League School)
GMAT: 700
Work Experience:
- 2 years English Language Teacher abroad in Asia and Europe (wanted to travel after undergrad; after this trip went to grad school
- 2 years in masters program
- Summer associate at boutique consultancy
- 1 year think tank in DC (first job out of grad school, pay was INCREDIBLY low so I left for;
- 3 years Management Consultant at Top 5 Firm left for a tech startup
- 2 years VP at tech startup
What do people think about my candidacy? Also, has it been anyone's experience that EMBA programs provide scholarships? I'd be interested in hearing (and this could be beneficial for the larger community) any discussion around scholarships at the EMBA programs. Thanks a bunch for your time!
