What are the chances of a R1 waitlist candidate to convert ISB with an average score of 700?

Hi Arsh123 , there's more to waitlist decision than just GMAT score. Waitlisted in R1 means the school wants to wait and see if there are better candidates in subsequent rounds. Therefore your prospects depend on the quality of applicants from your industry of work, deferrals and withdrawals as people get international admits. I had two recent applicants who got waitlisted by ISB - one from IT Consulting and the other(a very promising one) from Enterprise Sales for a global startup. To my surprise, only the IT Consultant made it through the waitlist successfully. I suggest you keep your backup options planned out.

Waitlists are always unreliable. Even if others have cleared it, there is a larger number that hasn't. Besides, a lot depends on the applicant pool of a certain year, and drawing generalizations is, therefore, not possible.
