Hello
Origo,
I hope you are doing well. It is definitely possible for you to get accepted into top B-schools in Canada, the UK, and the USA, even at the age of 38. Your strong academic background, impressive work experience, and entrepreneurial ventures make you a competitive candidate.
Here are some of the factors that admissions committees will consider:
Your academic record: Your IIT Bombay BTech degree and your IIM K MBA degree are both from prestigious institutions. Your GMAT score of 680 is also competitive.
Your work experience: Your 14 years of experience in supply chain management, including your current position as Country Supply Chain Manager at a French Pharma multinational, are very impressive.
Your entrepreneurial ventures: Your experience in starting an Ed Tech venture and running a YouTube channel shows that you are an entrepreneurial and innovative thinker.
Your extracurricular activities: Your leadership experience in E Cell, Placecom at IIT Bombay, and the Alumni committee at XLRI shows that you are a team player and a leader.
Here are some of the B-schools that you may want to consider:Canada:Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto
Schulich School of Business, York University
Ivey Business School, Western University
UK:London Business School
University of Oxford, Saïd Business School
Cambridge Judge Business School
USA:Harvard Business School
Stanford Graduate School of Business
Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
Should you opt for an MS in Supply Chain courses instead of a 1-year MBA?This is a decision that you will need to make based on your own career goals. If you are interested in pursuing a career in supply chain management, then an MS in Supply Chain course may be a good option for you. However, if you are interested in pursuing a career in general management, a 1-year MBA may be a better choice.
Here are some factors to consider:
Your career goals: What do you want to do with your career? An MS in Supply Chain will prepare you for a career in supply chain management, while a 1-year MBA will prepare you for a career in general management.
Your experience: How much experience do you have in supply chain management? If you have a lot of experience, then an MS in Supply Chain may not be necessary.
Your financial situation: MS in Supply Chain courses are typically less expensive than 1-year MBA programs.

Side hustles:
Started an Ed Tech venture, bootstrapped (unregistered, <50 customers, wound up in 6 months)

With my background can you please suggest:
1) With this profile if I will be able to get into a good college?
2) Which B Schools may consider me at this age & level of experience?
3) Should I opt for MS in Supply Chain courses instead of 1 year MBA?
My targets are to move abroad, increase pay & pursue entrepreneurship in 3-5 years from now wherever I settle.
Thanks
