Hello. Thanksgiving Holiday is coming this Thursday in the United States.
It is a unique and interesting holiday that started out with people giving thanks for the past year and for basically surviving the life in the new world. It is celebrated in the 4th Thursday of November, so it moves from year to year. This year, it is Nov 24th.
Today the holiday is a family-focused celebration with a big turkey dinner followed by the Black Friday, thanks to all the retailers for spoiling it
However, one of the nice and good parts of this holiday is that many people reflect on the past year and share what they are thankful for, so I would like to do a bit of that.
What are you thankful for this year? (this can be small or big - meaningful only to you or to many. It is really a spectrum and it is cool to hear what has impacted other people around us).
P.S. I can share that I am thankful for all the support my home country of Ukraine has gotten this year from really all over the world. It has been very motivating and inspiring to see so many people whose lives were not directly impacted to care and sympathize with the struggle of the population in Ukraine holding off the Russian invasion. I am also thankful for all the smart questions and dedication many of the moderators and users have put into GMAT Club community, and finally, among small but important things, I am thankful for the https://gmatclub.com/chat App - it helps keep track of the latest news and I even managed to hook up GMAT Club to it, so I can see all of the latest posts from GMAT Club.
