Business dress does not matter.. You want to avoid looking unprofessional.Wearing a suit and tie doesn't mean anything if you don't wear it correctly.A plain white colored tee shirt with khaki's or jeans. It is simple and casual.

The male / female equivalent of suit and tie. I always suggest keep it basic. Black/Grey/Blue suit and white or blue shirt. Nothing that makes you memorable either way. Your performance should do that

I can agree with you, the most important is to choose clothes correctly, use suitable accessories. And what is more you shoild feel comfortable.

I think it doesn't mean something special and you shouldn't worry about this)
Of course, to wear suit and tie - will be to much. But if you are going to work at bank - it is ok)
I think, you can wear just a black dress. As for me, this is the best chose. You will look elegant and formal at the same time.

The most noticeable thing about your appearance should be how well it suits you and your role. Clean, pressed, coordinated, polished, well fitting, flattering, no cleavage, no thigh, no flip flops, no clanging jewelry or accessories, hair off the face, natural and neutral makeup, very little or no scent detectible beyond 2 feet. You should also be able to walk at a moderate pace without falling off your heels, have one hand free for shaking hands (so no excess baggage), and go hours without checking a mirror to fix your hair or your makeup. Styles should be acceptable within the general culture of your location, within the specific culture of your organization, and appropriate for the event.
