There are so many people refering to things such as OG and I am wondering that those abbreviations stand for. Can someone clue me in on the basic ones. Thanks

OG = Official Guide are the guide(s) that GMAC puts out.

Books Available:
Official Guide 11
- Newest book, tons of math and verbal questions

Official Guide 10
- Older book, tons of math and verbal questions

Official Guide Verbal Review
- 300+ more verbal questions

Official Guide Math Review
- 300+ more math questions

In my opinion the verbal sections in all of the books are great. The math stuff is valuable too, but the first half of the questions in each book are not realistic as far as difficulty goes. In all I would highly recommend getting some combination of the guides.

OG means over-gold. It's from the movie I'm Gonna Git you Sucka. (That was a joke in case anyone didn't realize).

I completed the Verbal and the Math supplemental guides. Last year I completed most of the OG 11 and I intend to review the tougher questions in the next week or so. It's great material.

OG 11 = Orange book (800 questions)
OG verbal = Purple book (300 questions)
OG math = Green book (300 questions)
