What do you guys make of the Dow and the stock market?

Considering many of us will be looking for jobs shortly, it's definitely something in the back of the mind. A good economy means more jobs, more alternatives for job seekers and more money. Let's not even talk about what might happen if the economy goes in the cr@pper.

I think what I worry most about is if companies start performing poorly with no outward indicators. That might cause themt to pull back on hiring even as they maintain a bright and sunny outlook.

I keep waiting for the stock market to pull back, but it really rebounded strongly after last weeks sell-off. It seems like if they can get a handle on the credit markets and the sub-prime mortgage sector, the market might just keep heading up.
