I'm curious. I've been through several interviews by now and I wonder what exactly they're relaying to the Adcom. For example, I noticed when answering "why tuck/booth," both interviewers jotted down notes when they heard something unique to the school (booth: flexible curriculum/LEAD, tuck: global consultancy/a specific professor's research).

Can anybody shed any light on what their reports look like (I realize how they're viewed in the context of the overall app)?

Something like below (in complete sentences) or totally different:

-Carries himself well
-Well-spoken
-Clearly nervous/relaxed
-Exudes confidence/insecurity
-Appears self-aware

-Likes the flex curriculum and LEAD program
-Was able to articulate goals/challenges/weaknesses in a concise manner

Each school will have a slightly different interview report "template" depending on what they value.

When I was an Admissions Director, we were looking for level of interest, communication skills, employability / career plan and ambassadorial traits i.e. what unique viewpoint will this applicant bring. We also were on the lookout for possible red flags. We required a written summary and the interviewer to rank his level of enthusiasm for the applicant.

These reports were often discussed by the admissions committee.

Hope this helps!

Yep,
I've seen a few different templates. They can vary, but a lot of them have short questions or kind of ratings (How well spoken was the interviewer 1-10. A lot of what is asked is impressions, as well as some things that the school is specifically looking for (Like how will will this person work on a team) or something like that.

Very good - thanks a lot, Jon!
