first read the rules for posting a proper question........
as per solution is concerned take some reference value of total distance it will be easier to calculate if u take a value which is LCM of (4,3,2 because it will cancel 1/4, 1/3& 1/2 of total distance) then u find distance covered is 3/4 of total distance

Let the total distance be 12
Distance traveled on the first day = 3 , distance remaining = 9 Distance traveled on the second day = 3 , distance remaining = 6 Distance traveled on the third day = 3 , distance remaining = 3
So, In three days he has traveled \(\frac{9}{12} = \frac{3}{4}\) of the total distance...
