I think you're better off starting with our strategy guides and then hitting some Official Guide questions for each topic as you go. I'd start the Sentence Correction book (just a few chapters) before starting to mix in the other two verbal guides. For Quant, we usually go in numbered order: Fractions, Decimals, & Percents first, then Algebra, Word Problems, Geometry, & Number Properties.

Once you're a few weeks into your study, start mixing in some "spiraled" material--that is, material you covered in the past and need to see again. Once you've covered a wide range of topics, also start doing mixed sets straight out of the Official Guide.

The Princeton Review book has some good problems in it if you want more practice in specific areas, but it should be used as a supplement, not a replacement for official questions.

Happy studying!

Hi Seagull88,

As I mentioned in my prior post, taking a FULL-LENGTH CAT to establish a 'baseline' score is an important part of the process. You can feel free to do a bit of studying before you take that CAT, so you can learn a bit about what you'll see on a FULL Test, but you should not wait too long to take that CAT. It's important to take practice CATs at regular intervals (1 CAT every 1-2 weeks), so that you can gauge your progress and fix the little mistakes as they occur (as opposed to trying to fix everything all at once).

Since you don't have a specific Test Date scheduled yet, I have one more question:

When are you planning to apply to Business School?
