hi guys! i'm a newbie...i'm planning on taking the GMAT in late January 2006.
right now i'm using the Barrons 2001 GMAT prep book...is it good enough? or should i get new materials?
Hey buddy,
Please don't waste your time on Barron's. that is one massed up prep matarial. only helpful matarial in there is the grammar review. But still that is very basic. Apart from that the questions out there are either too easy or totally out of GMAT league.
you should get the official guide, which is published by ETS. 11th edition is available right now. Get done with that first. If you finish that then you can look for Kaplan or PR. And don't forget to participate in the GMAT club discussion. That will give you very good practice.
Good luck on you preperation.
