Sounds too stupid to be true, right?

Long story short, I hadnt practiced AWA before and took my GMAT yesterday. I did fairly well in attempting the AWA and I guess I wrote a decent essay too but didnt check the time and didnt click on the NEXT button. The time got over and it gave me a pop-up. As soon as I clicked OK it took me into the IR section. Does that mean my essay isnt submitted? Am I really that screwed?

It should have been saved as you go into the next section. I highly doubt this *bug* is not fixed on the real GMAT test. If time is up, it will (close to very sure) capture what you have and save that as your submission. So, don't worry too much.

Just an update: I received my official score yesterday and even though I didnt click on 'Next' after my AWA, my essay was still counted and I received decent scores on AWA (5) and IR (7)

Thanks again bb and Zeke

Hi bb/ Zeke / GMATpill team ->

Could you please let me know what happens in math and verbal section if you dont click confirm and next on the last question? Does it register the selected option or does it take the section to be incomplete?

Cheers
