The answer choices sugggest we might want to rewrite each expression as a power of 2, and then combine all of the expressions.

2^2 = 2^2
4^4 = (2^2)^4 = 2^8
8^8 = (2^3)^8 = 2^24

So, \(2^2 * 4^4 * 8^8\) = \(2^2 * 2^8 * 2^24\)
= \(2^34\)

Let’s express all factors as powers of 2, noting that 4 = 2^2 and 8 = 2^3. We can then simplify the given expression.

2^2 x 4^2 x 8^8

2^2 x (2^2)^4 x (2^3)^8

2^2 x 2^8 x 2^24

2^34

Answer: B
