\(\sqrt{54}\)= 3\(\sqrt{6}\)

\(\sqrt{24}\)= 2\(\sqrt{6}\)

\(\sqrt{54}\)*\(\sqrt{24}\)= 3\(\sqrt{6}\)* 2\(\sqrt{6}\)= 36

Answer: A.

I'd use the same approach as varun4s used.
However, this alternative approach is not without its merits :-)

RULE: (√a)(√b) = √(ab)
So, √54×√24 = √(54×24)
=√1296

Notice that √1600 = 40, so √1296 must be less than 40
ELIMINATE C, D and E

Also, notice that 38² = ???4, BUT the units digit of 1296 is 6
ELIMINATE B

Answer: A

We can simplify the given expression:

√54 x √24 = √9 x √6 x √4 x √6 = √36 x 6 = 6 x 6 = 36

Answer: A
