Hi,

what are things that are provided at the test center and what we need to carry with ourselves? paper, pen, pencil, eraser, earplugs, water, food, hallticket, i-card maybe etc. ?

Regards

You can take your own food and beverages, for example. You will need to present a valid form of ID. The MBA website has a dropdown list based on location of acceptable IDs you can check out.

Hi JHR2021,

You can learn about what Test Day entails on the official website here:

https://www.mba.com/exams/gmat-exam/plan-for-exam-day

Obviously, there are additional factors that can impact your performance (in the days leading up to your Exam and on Test Day itself), so to maximize your performance, you have to think about all of the various details of the Test Day 'event.'

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi AjiteshArun / anyone else here who might have an answer,

Are religious articles (such as a religious wooden bracelet) allowed during the GMAT exam at a Pearson's Venue? I am unable to find this information anywhere, but as this is something that brings me comfort I am hoping to be allowed to carry this with me :(

Hi JHR2021,

If you're taking the exam in India, you must have a valid passport (name and DOB must match mba.com registration exactly). A light snack would be good, and I recommend that you take your own water. They'll provide you markers/noteboards, so you don't have to bring, and in fact aren't allowed to use, your own. They will also give you some form of noise protection (you can't take your own).

Hi TtTt1212,

Unfortunately, this depends on your test centre/proctor. GMAT rules state that medical bracelets are allowed, but I'd be surprised if they allowed a large, removable bracelet of any other kind.

You can find more information about this on mba.com (link, "allowed and prohibited items").

My passport renewal appointment happened recently- so they have punched holes in it. Will that be accepted for offline GMAT?
