What is hundredths digit of decimal z?

st1 The tenths digit of 100z is 2
st2The units digit of 1000z is 2

E

Let z is 0.abcde we need to find b

St1: 100z = ab.cde where a is 2.: INSUFF

St2: 1000z = abc.de i.e c = 2: INSUFF

Together: a = 2 and c = 2. No information about b.:INSUFF

From 1, the tenth digit is 2
From 2, the thousandth digit is 2.

Both insufficient.

I think you meant:
St1: 100z = ab.cde where c=2
St2: 1000z = abc.de where c=2
