Area of rectangular field = length * width
(1) The diagonal is twice the width.
Let diagonal = 2d
and width = d
Not sufficient
(2) The length is 173 feet
Not sufficient as we have no information about width
Combining 1 and 2 , we get
(2d)^2 = d^2 + 173^2
=>3*d^2 = 173^2
=>d = 173/(3^1/2)
Sufficient as we know both length and width
Answer C
