Statement 1: gives me 1 side we don't know if the side contains the 90° or not. Insufficient Statement 2: it does not give us any information to find out area. Insufficient
Statement 1 & 2 together: no new information is revealed. Insufficient

(1) Side B is \(7\sqrt{2}\) units long.
(2) Triangle ABC is isosceles.

side of right angled triangle
45:45:90 or 30:60:90
45:45:90 or x:x√3:2x

#1
Side B is \(7\sqrt{2}\) units long.
we dont know angles
in sufficient
#2
Triangle ABC is isosceles
so 45:45:90; 45:45:90 sides

from 1& 2 ; we cannot determine which side of the right angled triangle is 90* and side length also not sure..

Here when combining we don't which side it is given, It could be the hypotenuse side or the shortest side -> Answers will be different
