breadth now know insufficient

2*(l+b) = 24
l+b=24
l,b not know insufficient
from 1 &2
l=8 , b = 16
area ; 8*16 ; 128
option C sufficient

The stem and in both of the statements talk about the floor of rectangular room, so the height is not important.

statement 1: NS. length of 8 can have any width as a value
statement 2: NS . 24 Perimeter. L can be 21 W 1 , L can be 10, W 2 etc...

both: if L is 8, then W is 4 for a perimeter of 24 and an area of 32
