(1) x + y = 18
(2) x + 3y = 32

Question :

2x + 6y/ 2 = ?

Say, 2x + 6y / 2 = k

2(x + 3y) = 2k

x + 3y = k , then what is "k"

St 1: Not sufficient as there are infinite values for this equation.

St 2: Sufficient : Directly answers k = 32

(B)
