I'd say "D"
1) 8 = (x+11)/2 -> x = 16-11 = 5
1) 6 = (x+7)/2 -> x = 12-7 = 5

We have to find (7+11+x)/3
for that we need only one variable x.
For that any one equation will only x as variable will suffice.
Statement 1: (11+x)/2 = 8 , x=5
Statememt 2 : (7+x)/2 = 6 , x=5
Both statement individually can give value of x .

Need to find 11+7+x/3

I) 11+x=16

So mean=(16+7)/3 sufficient

II)7+x=12

Mean comes to be 23/3 so sufficient
