If some one can explain in detail how to answer this DS question I would be greatful. Thanks!

What is the average score of the bowlers in a bowling tournament?

1) Seventy Percent of bowlers average 120 and the other 30 percent average 140.

2) The 300 bowlers in the tournament all bowled 3 games.

1) 70% avg 120, if total people =x, 0.7x avg 120, total for 0.7x => 84x
30% avg 140, 0.3x avg 140, total for 0.3x => 42x
Overall Total = 126x
Overall total people = x
Therefore, overall avergae = 126x/x = 126

SUFF.

2) 300 bowlers => no clue how much they scored. INSUFF

Hence A
