(1/5)^4 is same as (0.2)^4 = {(10^-1)(2)}^4 = 0.0001*16 = 0.0016. Hence E.

What is the decimal equivalent of \((\frac{1}{5})^4\) ?

A. 0.0032
B. 0.032
C. 0.00625
D. 0.003125
E. 0.0016

1/5 = 0.20 = > 20/100 = 2/10

So, 1/5^4 = (2/10)^4

Now, (2/10)^4

We know 2^4 = 16 {This can bring us to the conclusion to (E) }& 10^4 = 10000

So, (2/10)^4 = 0.0016, Answer must be (E)

Alternate solution:

(1/5)^4 = (0.2)^4 = 0.2 x 0.2 x 0.2 x 0.2 = 0.0016

Answer: E
