How can you tell which is which? ... for me both of them are an issue and both of them are an argument ... so what is the difference between an argument and an issue?

Hi Majid,

Check this quote out that I found on web

Quote:
In issue analysis, you’re asked to develop a point of view and support it. That’s pretty simple- either agree or disagree with a statement and use your own experience and knowledge to explain why.

Argument analysis, however, asks you to develop a critique of an argument. You have to read a certain argument and explain why it’s good or bad, finding flaws in the logic behind it, or strong/weak assumptions the argument is based on.
