What is the distance from City A to City C in kms?

(1) City A is 90 kms from City B.

(2) City B is 30 kms from City C.

We need to find the distance between A and C?

Statement 1:

(1) City A is 90 kms from City B.

case 1: BA ( left to right ), the distance is 90 kms.

if C is to the left of B , the arrangement is C———B———A, the distance are AC = 120, CB = 30.

if C is to the Right of B, the arrangement is B———C———A, the distance are AB = 90, BC = 30, the. AC = 60.

Hence, Insufficient

Statement 2:

(2) City B is 30 kms from City C.

Case 2: AB ( left to right ), the distance is 90 kms.

if C is to the left of B , the arrangement is A———C———B, the distance are AC = 60, CB = 30.

if C is to the Right of B, the arrangement is A———B———C, the distance are AB = 90, BC = 30, the. AC = 120.

Hence, Insufficient
