Equation of any curve passing through the points of intersection of the curves S1=0 and S2=0 is given by S1+K*S2=0. Here S1=x^2+y^2-6=0 and S2=x^2+y^2−6x+8=0. So the Required equation is x^2+y^2-6 +K(x^2+y^2−6x+8)=0. Since it is passing through (1,1) , we get 1+1-6+k(1+1-6+8)=0 or k=1.So equation is x^2+y^2-6 +1(x^2+y^2−6x+8)=0 or x^2+y^2−3x+1=0 ---> Option B

Bunuel Is this the right graphical representation of the equations of the two intersecting circles mentioned above?
After drawing it on the graph I took the values of the intersecting point as (2,1) by approximation, inserted into the options and option B satisfied it. Is this the right approach?
