What is the greatest prime factor of \(2^{13}+2^{11} - 10\) ?

(A) 13
(B) 19
(C) 23
(D) 29
(E) 31

Simplifying, we have:

2^11(2^2 + 1) - 10

2^11(5) - 10

5(2^11 - 2)

5(2,048 - 2)

5(2,046) = 5(2 x 1,023) = 5(2 x 3 x 341) = 5(2 x 3 x 11 x 31)
