.

$$20^8 = (2*2*5)^8 = 2^{16}*5^8$$
CLEARLY maximum possible value of $$n = 16$$

hence E

$$20^8=(2^2*5)^8=2^{16}5^8$$. Therefore the largest integer n such that 2^n is a factor of $$2^{16}5^8$$ is 16.

$$20^8=(4*5)^8=2^{16}*5^8$$

so $$n=16$$
