Shouldn't b1=4/7 or -4/7; and b2=sqr7/2 or -sqr7/2? Multiplying all these four gives the answer C.

It should be 4/7. When taking square root for finding values of b, we must consider both +ve and -ve values so final calculation will lead to choice C
