you reinstall GMAT Preptest to get new questions. occasionally, some questions do get repeated, but it is a very small # of them (maybe a couple per test). this is why you should save the gmat preptest towards the end of your study cycle - to get the most accurate prediction of your score. if you retake it with previously viewed questions, then the score you receive might be inflated a little.
thats my question. if you just retake it will you get identical questions and thus not have a CAT at all, you will just be able to complete your previously answered questions?
no, when you reinstall you get 99% new questions, 1% repeated questions. if you just retake it without reinstalling then you will get the same questions

I would like to add something with your permission sir ==> If we go on answering previously incorrect questions correctly during second retake, we will get new questions. (this was my personal experience). But of course if we re-install we get more new questions right from the begining of the test.
