(1) P = X^2 where X is a positive integer
x as a positive integer or negative integer does not matter as x^2 is always positive..
nothing much if x is an even integer, remainder will be even number and if x is odd number remainder will be some odd number
so clearly insuff

(2) X is the square of an even integer
nothing about P
insuff

combined..
if x is an even number but not a MULTIPE of 5, some remainder will be left
If x is multiple of 5 and also an even number for example 10, remainder will be 0
insuff

We have to find the remainder when positive integer P is divided by 20.
S1 - P = X^2 where X is a positive integer
X=2,4,6,8....
X^2=4,16,36,64.....
Each of the above gives different reminder on dividing by 20.
Therefore, insufficient.

S2 - X=0^2, 2^2, 4^2....
Insufficient, because no relation given between and X.

Combining, we get, P = X^2= 2^4, 4^4, 6^4...
Again, on dividing by 20, gives different remainders, hence insufficient.
