To find the value of integer Y

Statement 1:

X is an integer such that X*Y = 6

X can be 1,2,3,6,-1,-2,-3,-6 implying that Y can be 6,3,2,1,-6,-3,-2,-1 respectively (Not sufficient)

Statement 2:

Y - X = 5

Y = X+5

Y can have infinite number of values depending on X (Not sufficient)

Combining statements 1 and 2 together

From statement 1 we have X,Y pairs as (1,6), (2,3), (3,2), (6,1), (-1,-6), (-2,-3), (-3,-2), (-6,-1)

Among the above pairs, (1,6) and (-6,-1) satisfy both the statements.

Hence statement together not sufficient to arrive at unique value of integer Y

Hence option E
